SCOPE
This policy applies to all wines and spirits held, traded, or delivered by Rue Pinard BV under bonded conditions (duty-suspended storage) and to any subsequent exit from bond.
NO RETURNS (BONDED)
Goods held or traded in bond are not eligible for return or exchange. Once an order is executed and the goods are allocated to the Client’s bonded account, the transaction is final. This reflects the professional trading nature of bonded markets and market-price volatility.
DELIVERY (DUTY-PAID SHIPMENTS ONLY)
Where the Client requests release from bond and delivery duty-paid:
• EU: We dispatch within 7 days after exit formalities and payment are complete. A tracking link is sent. Typical transit: up to 5 business days after dispatch.
• Non-EU (excl. US): Dispatch within 7 days after export clearance. Tracking via DHL or Fedex. Typical transit: up to 15 business days after dispatch.
• United States: We use dedicated carriers and routes compliant with US import rules. Timelines vary by state and will be confirmed before dispatch.
DELAY PROTOCOL
Tracking may show minor delays due to customs or carrier processing.
• If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, contact us to investigate.
• If tracking shows no movement for 15 business days, we will assess eligibility for reshipment. If a reshipment is not possible, we will assess eligibility for a refund.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT (DUTY-PAID SHIPMENTS ONLY)
We pack professionally (double-walled cartons and protective materials).
If damage occurs:
1) Notify us within 2 days of delivery and include clear photos of the outer packaging, labels, closures, and damage.
2) We may arrange collection or provide return instructions.
3) Upon receipt and verification, we will refund or replace (if available) within 14 days.
CANCELLATIONS
• Before execution: cancellation may be requested in writing. Acceptance is at our discretion and may be subject to fees.
• After execution / in bond: no cancellation or return is possible.
• Duty-paid consumer deliveries: to the extent required by law, statutory rights may apply. Note that exemptions can apply to alcohol traded on fluctuating markets and to goods released after 30 days, and to sealed goods once unsealed.
ADDRESS POLICY
We cannot provide post-delivery support for shipments delivered to an address other than the address confirmed at checkout unless expressly agreed in advance. Deliveries left at porches, garages, or other unattended locations at the recipient’s request are at the recipient’s risk.
